Going Above and Beyond since 1950
MAPP Technologies, LLC — Powering a Brighter Future
Ten months after the acquisition of Mid-America Precision Products, LLC, by TGP Capital Partners II, LLC and the addition of CEO Luis Coreano, the organization will change its corporate name to MAPP Technologies, LLC (MAPP) — a new name and brand that represent our past, present and future in a company supporting the Maritime, Aerospace and PowerGen industries.
MAPP has a long history in machining and fabrication dating back to 1950 when it was founded as Spike’s Tool & Die. While ownership changes have occurred over the past 60-plus years, our core capability of manufacturing and repairing critical components to OEM print specifications continues. Our experience in specialized process capabilities, from raw material through machining, welding, coating, assembly and final inspection, allow MAPP to provide best-in-class value, quality and just-in-time delivery to our customers.
The company has partnered with Whiskey Design of Kansas City, Mo., and creative director Matt “Wegs” Wegerer to develop and market the new MAPP brand.
“The professional and creative culture within Whiskey Design made this project nearly seamless. It has been a profound pleasure working with a team of this caliber,” said Todd Barnes, executive vice president of sales and marketing for MAPP.
MAPP has launched a new-and-improved website under the domain of mapptechnologies.com where visitors can view its technologies, certifications and contact information. Prospective customers will be able to make inquiries and requests for quotes, while future employees can use the site to research and apply for employment opportunities.
CEO Luis Coreano said, “Our focus is to create best-in-class value for our customers. We are committed to continuing our legacy and breaking into new markets that are embracing the latest technologies. I’m excited about the future of MAPP Technologies and the value proposition offering to our customers.”
